Automatic Driving Lessons Overview
Instructor Introduction
I teach automatic driving using a car equipped with dual control. My teaching techniques are diverse, designed to cater to each student's unique learning style. I take great satisfaction in helping individuals learn to drive, refresh their skills, or build confidence on the road.
Key Teaching Attributes:
1. Approachable: Always friendly, patient, and professional in demeanor.
2. Progress Recap: Each lesson begins with a review of your learning progress.
3. Clear Objectives: Goals for each lesson will be established collaboratively.
4.Tailored Assistance: The level of support from your instructor will be discussed and agreed upon for each subject.
5. End of Lesson Review: Your progress will be summarized at the conclusion of each session.
6. Client-Led Instruction: If you want to revisit a skill, it's your lesson-practice as much as you need!
7. Punctuality Commitment: I aim to be on time for at least 90% of lessons. If I am delayed, I will notify you and any lost time will be compensated in future lessons.
8. Clean Vehicle: The driving school car will always be maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
9. Additional Learning Resources: Accelerate your learning with complimentary theory test training and online video materials.
### Requirements for Lessons:
1. Driving Licence: You must hold a current, valid full, provisional, or international driving licence and present it before your first lesson, for your driving test, and upon request. It is your responsibility to ensure you meet legal and medical fitness requirements to drive.
2.The instructor does NOT take responsibility to reschedule the driving session if the student does NOT meet legal and medical fitness requirements to drive. Please refer to the cancellation policy notice.
3.Lesson Duration:
- The minimum lesson duration is 2 hours.
- If I am late, I will make every effort to inform you of my estimated arrival time. Any delays will be credited to your lesson, and I will try to extend the lesson duration accordingly. If this is not feasible, the extra time will carry over to your next lesson.
- If you are late, I will wait for 15 minutes; if you do not arrive within that timeframe, the full lesson fee will still apply.
### Legal and Safety Standards:
- Compliance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Adherence to DVSA standards and road safety regulations.
- Right to select clients.
- Business protection measures.

- While I strive to ensure lessons start and finish on time, I reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or change lesson lengths and timings due to certain circumstances, such as dangerous weather conditions. In the event of a postponement, any fees paid in advance will be credited toward future lessons.
- Safety is paramount; I reserve the right to cancel a lesson on short notice if there are concerns that the pupil may be unfit to drive due to alcohol, drugs (prescribed or otherwise), or any other condition that could impair safe driving. In these cases, the full lesson fee will still be payable.

Certainly! Here’s a more detailed breakdown of the cancellation policy for driving lessons:
### Cancellation and Rescheduling Details
1. Advance Notice Requirement:
- Students must notify the instructor at least 7 working days in advance if they wish to cancel or reschedule a lesson. This notice allows the instructor to adjust their schedule and potentially fill the slot with another student.
2. Consequences of Late Notification:
- If a student fails to provide the required 7 working days' notice, they will forfeit the lesson cost. This means that the fee paid for that lesson will not be refunded or credited.
3. Instructor Cancellation Rights:
- The instructor has the right to cancel, postpone, or alter lesson times and durations under certain circumstances. Common scenarios include:
- Adverse Weather Conditions: If driving conditions are deemed unsafe due to weather (e.g., heavy rain, snow, fog), the instructor may choose to cancel or reschedule the lesson for safety reasons.
- Personal Emergencies: Situations such as illness or unforeseen circumstances may also lead to the instructor needing to cancel a lesson.
4. Procedure for Postponed Lessons:
- If a lesson is postponed by the instructor, any fees already paid for that lesson will be carried forward and applied to the next suitable lesson. This ensures that students do not lose their payment due to circumstances outside their control.
5. Communication:
- It’s important for both the instructor and the student to maintain open communication regarding any changes. If a student is running late or unable to attend, informing the instructor as soon as possible can help mitigate any potential issues.
6. Impact on Learning:
- The cancellation policy also emphasizes the importance of commitment to the learning process. Consistency in lessons is key for developing driving skills, and having clear guidelines supports both the instructor's schedule and the student's progress.
### Summary
This cancellation policy is designed to ensure fairness for both the instructor and the student while prioritizing safety and effective learning. By adhering to these guidelines, both parties can maintain a professional and respectful relationship, contributing to a positive learning experience.
